18.00 – Anton Angione, Chief Blockchain & Security Advisor – ‘Lloyds Carves Out Cyber-Insurance Exclusions for State-Sponsored Attacks’
The company explained it will no longer cover losses resulting from ‘cyber-war’, which it defined as a cyber-operation carried out as part of a war, any retaliatory attacks between specified states, or a cyber-operation ‘that has a major detrimental impact on the functioning of a state’.

19.00 – Lisa Forte, Partner at Red Goat Security, ‘What really happens when you pay a ransom’
Taking a detailed look at ransomware organised crime groups, how they operate, the operational and managerial issues they experience and how they launder such large quantities of money. Lisa will look at the big name groups including Conti and DarkSide as well as the blockchain technology that facilitates such effective money laundering at scale.
