Our Story so far
In Autumn 2017, during the ISC2 conference, four of committed young professional—James Packer, Omar Herrera, Clive Sims, and Liz Banbury—first met with a shared vision of building a thriving community for security professionals in London.
What started as an idea among four colleagues has flourished beyond what any of us could have imagined. Today, the chapter stands strong with over 2,500 members. Together, we’ve coordinated more than 65 engaging events—thanks in large part to the unwavering support of local London companies who generously opened their doors, providing us with venues and refreshments.

My key focus for the London Chapter is:
Continue to build upon the successes of the chapter and expand our capability to give value back to our members. To build our initiatives, particularly around education, and to take bold action to address the challenges we face in our communities. To expand the Chapter network, support like-minded professionals and work closer together for the benefit of the industry. We have an extremely exciting period ahead of us, full of opportunities to make a real impact and drive change for the benefit of all; we would love to have you join us on the journey and we embrace any and all input you would like to have.”
