We are delighted to announce and cordially invite you to our inaugural mentoring and Toastmasters event. (ISC)² London Chapter, in partnership with BLOCKPHISH, is proposing to host quarterly mentoring events for young graduates, and early-stage professionals in the cybersecurity industry.
These initiatives will provide mentoring and presentation practice, with focus based purely on cyber security as a theme. Expert mentors from BLOCKPHISH, together with experience colleagues from our professional network will be in attendance, bringing years of experience within the cyber security sector. Collectively, we are committed to developing young talent and supporting their career progression.
We will also be jointly hosting bi-monthly Toastmasters events, supporting anyone wishing to improve their confidence, practising public speaking, meeting peers within the industry and developing the strength and reach of our already extensive network.
Our inaugural event is scheduled for the 26th of September between 18:30 and 21:00; the venue is being confirmed.
This invite is going out to 140 schools and universities within London, as well as to several other organisations representing minority groups so only 10 places will be available for members who are not interested in becoming a mentor or mentee.
