16/03/2022 @ 18:00 - 21:00 GMT

(ISC)2 London Chapter are pleased to invite you to this in person training kindly facilitated by City of London Police.

Dear (ISC)2 London Chapter members,

We are extremely pleased to invite you to an incident response workshop provided by the City of London Police.

Date: 16th March 2022

Time: 18:00 – 20:30

Location: Infoblox City Tower, 40 Basinghall Street, London, EC2V 5DE

The session will not be catered for but drinks will be provided.

Tickets are extremely limited as this is a seminar-style workshop. This is a second iteration of the workshop hosted on the 16th February. If you have attended the February workshop, please do not attend the 16th March too.

This is a unique opportunity brought to the (ISC)2 London community by City of London Police. If you are unable to attend, please make sure to cancel 3 days in advance to allow enough time to reallocate your ticket.

Training description:

Understanding how to respond to and manage any type of incident is a critical skill for any organisation in order to safeguard against the loss of revenue, reputation, trust, and assets. The Cyber Griffin team are well positioned to give first hand insight into the tried and tested incident response models and methods used today by UK Policing. Whether you have an existing incident response plan, or are in the process of developing one, this session will help you plan and prepare effectively for when it is needed.

Key Benefits:

-Obtain an invaluable insight into police command structures and decision-making processes.

– Adopt ideas to improve your response to a cyber-attack and overall business continuity.

– Learn from City of London Detectives, who will share their real life experiences of dealing with firearms incidents, serious public order incidents, and high risk, high speed vehicle pursuits.

– Learn how to justify your decisions and actions when facing post incident reviews, whether conducted by internal investigators or external regulators.

– Be assured that all discussions will be kept strictly confidential and any advice will be handled with integrity and impartiality.

Due to part of our covid-19 safety measures, we are limiting numbers at this event to ensure that attendees have a safe space for social distancing, so please register now to avoid disappointment.

By signing up, you also consent for photos/screenshots to be taken during the event and to be posted on the social media and communication channels of (ISC)2 UK Chapter.

Please note, (ISC)2 credential holders will be issued 3 CPEs for full attendance. You will be asked for your (ISC)2 membership number during registration.

We look forward to seeing you in person soon!

Kind Regards,

(ISC)2 London Chapter Team
